The best way to find the most suitable Junior ISA for your child is to shop around.
There are many different options including high street banks, building societies, mutual friendly societies, fund markets and other Junior ISA Providers.
Whilst past performance is a great indicator into how good the Junior ISA is, this does not mean that the future performance will be just as good.
Like many other investments, the value of an Investment Junior ISA can go down as well as up and the end value of the ISA may be less than the total of what you paid in.
It is permitted that every eligible child will be able to hold both a Cash Junior ISA Account and an Investment Junior ISA at the same time.
They are only permitted to hold one of each account and these accounts do not have to be with the same provider. For example, the child could hold a cash isa with a bank and an investment isa with a mutual friendly society. |
